This advert is in the media platform of broadcast as it is an advert made for TV, however it is kind of tricky as this advertisement could go under web based as most of its fame came through people sending and forwarding to each other on E-Mails and social networking such as twitter and facebook.

It is noticeable that in this advert Call Of Duty are trying to get more of the female gender to play their games as they included many females and they are trying to aim at a wider age range.

The also did contain the main objects and settings that the game Call Of Duty would contain.

They also attracted attention through celebs such as Kobe Bryant and Jimmy Kimmel.

Call Of Duty has also produced and made a game for tablets and mobile phones to attract a bigger audience.

It is also free so more people would play it and feel free to try it out and may motivate them to buy it on a better console.

This poster is very well thought about because they have collided two different worlds and put them together which is obviously going to make their audience larger as they would attract more people interested in music and mainly in Eminem who is a very famous rapper.

Movie Story: A young 15 year old teenager has dreams but not any ordinary dreams, big dreams of being a world class footballer. But with other distractions such as financial problems in his family and the other teens getting up to mischief in his neighbourhood it is automatically going to be much harder for a kid with so much talent. One day Adam (the 15 year old boy(Salam Bounoua)) takes a colossal step to his ambitious dream. Another important character is going to be Adams best friend Cruz (Samir Farah) who would be going with Adam the whole way through his dreams. But everything falls apart when problems starts to happen with the gangsters in his area.

They use emotional moments to emphasise the feelings of sadness in the movie, in specific the tone in which the characters are speaking very peacefully and in down to earth manner.
The music also emphasises the same emotions as the music connotes something sad and tragic occurred, this was also happening whilst the explosions and battles was continuing.
There was various movie companies featured in the beginning of the trailer, this is so the audience are then comfortable, this assures them that they are watching the right movie.
The text brought up doesn't feature much of the stars starring in the film, however they feature more of the directors and producers and their previous work in the movie industry. This suggests that the producers&director are crucial to the movie and are likely to grab the public's attention.
The voice over man is prevented in the trailer and they have used a character in the movie instead.
The release date and title is also featured.
The iconography in the trailer is explosions so this suggests that it is Action, and the spaceships and different planets featured is suggestive that it is a sci-fi and finally the emotions featured in the movie means that it is also a drama.

The shot of the central image is a low long shot and they have selected this shot because it captures the whole characters outfit but more importantly it makes the character look superior, heroic and most importantly powerful.
From looking at the sign in between the title you could immediately tell that this is a comic movie and features a superhero which means that it is more likely to be a sci-fi.

 The trailer lets us know that this movie is a horror movie as mainly it is mostly dark and full of shadows in the movie and makes us feel as though the victim is feeling isolated. Another popular reason why we can identify the genre of this movie is because the victim of the horror occurring is a young pretty woman. Finally we could tell this is a horror movie because it contains an old woman who is sending something to the young pretty victim that is bugging her and like any other horror movie each time this curse comes back it decreases in danger and scariness.

Movie Name: A Walk To Remember (2002)

The main and the most obvious signal that this is a Romance movie in this trailer is that there is mainly a Man and a Woman who fall in love and they are also the leading characters. Another element for this being a romance movie is that one of the main characters group of friends is included and featured in the story. The final reason why we could identify this to be a romance movie is because in every romance the main story line is that the two main characters fall in love and then something happens to separate them.

Flight is a brilliant example of a thriller as the narrative of the movie is a pure example of a usual thriller story line, this is because the main story line of a thriller is good against bad and is noticeable that the good in this movie is the hero who saved the lives of many people on the plane however the bad is the lawyers and men who are attempting to get the protagonist in jail. You may argue that through the trailer we could see that this is a psychological thriller as there is no fighting scenes or shooting scenes and so this means that the hero may be facing an emotional or mental threat.It is also said to be that the characters of a thriller movie is that the hero is usually does good actions through bad ways and this is the perfect example of the character in this movie as at the end of the day Denzil Washington is still a hero however he did have alcohol in his system and throughout the trailer he shows that he doesn't really care.

This picture is a medium from a low angle which is telling us that the subject is big and powerful as he is a bully. It is clear from the way he walks he does not fear anything and is quite confident from himself. The way he dresses is symbolising that he does not obey no rules, in school neither out of school. As you can see the subject pauses for a bit as he may have saw something that attracted his attention.

This picture is a medium close-up shot and this time the angle is a high angle. This shot allows us to begin to see the expressions on the characters face and the high angle shot makes us feel that this character is small and weak.

This shot is called over the shoulder shot, for this picture this specific shot was chosen so we can be put into the perspective of the bully looking into the poor boys eyes. The angle is unusual perspective.

This is a medium close-up and we used this as we wanted to include the fear and emotions in both of their faces. As you can see it is an unusual perspective as it is taken from right in front of them which we took as it makes it look as if the victim is being dragged away from the audience.

                        This is a long shot which was picked as we wanted to picture everything going on such as the victims surroundings and who exactly is surrounding him. The angle is a high angle as this makes the audience feel sorry for the subject.

This is a close-up, which was used as we wanted to capture the subjects expressions at an emotional moment, also makes the audience wonder what is going on as the subject is crying randomly.

Medium close-up to be able to see the subject and also the background. The angle is an unusual perspective as we are looking from behind the subject, maybe suggesting that the audience is being put into the subjects perspective.

Here a long shot is being taken as this shot is not necessarily trying to capture the emotions of the subject. The angle is a low angle as it is suggesting that then subject is thinking dangerously and even in danger.

This is a long shot to show the distance the subject jumped through and it is ironic as the picture is taken from above which is suggesting that we are alive and we are up here but he is dead and he is down there.

                                                 Language:                                                                                                                      From this games cover it is quite easy to tell what sort of game it is, the pictures in this game tells us that it doesn't simply have one cover and only one cover. I know this as it has 3 different photos. The first picture is of a lady getting arrested by another female officer, this represents that this game includes crime and law breaking. The second picture indicates that this game includes one and one word only, action, the reason for this is because there is a man holding a baseball bat and a fiercome dog with the other hand. And last but certainly not least the last picture indicates that this game has a bit of the sweet life, as there is a sexy woman and the beach on the background. I also spotted something I had to give myself a bit of praising about is that the V is coloured in green which is the colour to indicate money and also the five written around it has the exact same font which the US dollars use which may mean that a lot of this game is all about CASH!

institution:                                                                                                                               The main company and one of the only company behind GTA V is Rockstar games which is an experienced company at making games very similar to GTA  such as Red Dead Redemption and Bully. However the game was directed by Rockstar North which is a branch of Rockstar Games based in Edinburgh, Scotland. But the buyers of Rockstar games is a company called Take-Two Interactive. The point of this company is to support the financial leg of the table,  which is what, out of all games, GTA needs as they have spent 170 million pounds on GTA V... I know, that's insane!

Audience:                                                                                                                       The Audience of this game is made bold and clear, age wise they have targeted adults, in specific over 18. I say this because the game is full of contents which no parent or law would like their kids to be playing. Also the gender targeted is male, some may argue that it may be intended for females as there are 2 females on the picture I have presented however, the females in this picture is presented differently, let's focus on the woman in bikinis in specific, let's face it, men enjoy seeing naked woman and so a naked lady has been put on the screen to capture men's attention in specific. This game is also intended for more working class as a lot of the game is controlling gangsters and characters who break the law and are doing anything in their power to get cash.

Representation:                                                                                                                    Finally this game is trying to show us that whoever you are, whatever games you enjoy, this game is most probably for you! If you enjoy cars, action, fighting, gangsters, real life and sexy woman it's all in the game for you. Rockstar games is presenting their game in this way as they understand the more people yo can relate to in this game the more sales your going to get.

Fruit Bowl

This colouring designed by Salam Bounoua, Iqra Javed and Darnell George emphasises the feeling and sense of old fashion through the colours utilised. As you can see the picture we have used to collect the colours from isn't really a picture to represent the olden times and is also not a picture taken in the olden times. However we have impressively noticed that the colours in that picture represents the olden days and so we have used it in the fruit bowl. The colours black and white were used as the t.v's and pictures back in the day was (obviously) black and white and the rest of the colours such as brown, orange, yellow and etc. were used as it gives a real sense of old fashion!

Fifa 13!

 

For this project I have chosen a truly phenomenal game which is known by literally everyone as the best game for football, fifa 13. One major reason why I chose this game is mainly because I am a huge fan of it.

 

It would be very fair to mention that Fifa 13 is a game to represent great success. From looking at the cover its not hard to realise that this is a football game, fifa is available on Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Nintendo wii, WiiU, Nintendo 3DS and finally on various Mobile Phones. Although Fifa 13 does stand out from other games they went for a bold and reasonable price of £39.99, however could vary on where you buy it. Fifa 13 was labelled as he most anticipated sports game of 2012. Fifa 13, as usual, are said to be the competition to Konami's PES, but lets just say that fifa scored another goal by getting four point five million sales only in the space of 5 days! Quite impressive.

 

As you can see from the cover the makers of this fantastic game is EA Sports who are arguably the most successful gaming company in the world. However one of the main reasons why fifa beats Pro Evolution Soccer is because fifa gets license and support from the actual fifa company who in case you didn't know are the company who runs football.

 

 

 

Fifa 13 promoted the game with everything they could as their links with the real world of football is very good and so they took that as an advantage and used real life players to promote their game every time they had the chance to. Fifa 13 also provided great offers for their costumers for example the offer where they would give the adidas all star team for free if you buy the game before a specific date.

This is a one minute and a half trailer for television of fifa 13. From this trailer you could recognise that the target audience of this game is teenagers and young adults as it features a lot of them in the video. However it is trying to show us that Fifa 13 connects us with real footballers and makes you feel your in the real world of football. And Finally this trailer hardly includes any gameplay as it is suggesting that it is not only a game and it is much more serious than that in a world with stars such as Leo Messi, Karim Benzema and Joe Hart.

 

At the end of this you have to say and you are forced to say that fifa 13 is a magnificent success and it is simple to realise that through the brilliant trailers and the way they have marketed this game. EA has been making fifa games from before I was born and each year their games just get better and better so I believe that they will continue to make more as they have got no reason at all to stop. Look around it is easy to notice that fifa is an astoundingly popular game.
